I agree with NCOT, sometimes the greasy food just takes longer to digest. If you have Crohn's and are flaring, a low-residue diet will only HELP, it won't actually treat. When I first got Crohn's, I pretty much lived off of saltines for a few weeks (until I got the colonoscopy, meds, etc.) and was STILL having bloody diarrhea over 20 times each day. I'm glad you're going to still do the colonoscopy. I can't remember, have they done stool samples to test for things like salmonella, c. diff., giardia, etc.?
