Yes, but in the exact opposite direction: I became more of a night owl. It wasn't just the Crohn's (yes, internet, I'm looking at you), but it certainly didn't help. I've always had a pattern of being worse at night and better in the day, and that has tended to keep me up at night.
That same pattern has resurfaced now that I'm flaring again. I'm setting my alarm so I don't slide back into getting up at midday, but it's hard to fall asleep at 11pm when I'm constantly going to the toilet. My annoying tendency to become wakeful at night has also come back. Most non-sleeping pill stuff - like melatonin and benadryl - doesn't work for me either.
Not really relevant to you, topic creator, but I might look into magnesium.
