It is NOT a huge increased risk!! Whenever a study says something like "triples risk of cancer" (which I am totally making up, I have no idea what it is between Humira and skin cancer), if the normal risk is only 2%, then you only go up to 6%. It's still fairly low. Not sure if that makes sense or not.
With any immunosuppressant, your body has lowered ability to fight off problems, so whether or not it increases cancer risk, it lowers your ability to contain problems. So it is just worth getting your yearly checkup, which is actually recommended for anyone who has moles, red hair and fair skin, is often in the sun, etc.
