I just had a message pop up from My Chart, it was the Prometheus test results. Basically it has stopped working and he will be suggesting I switch to entyvio for my moderately severe CD. Sigh. it's kind of scary knowing that my body/disease is resisting the meds, but i'm grateful there is another drug to try.

Just needed to say all this to someone.

I'm in the same boat as you. The meds aren't working for me either and entyvio is my next drug to try too. It's very frustrating but like you said, at least there is something to try. Sometimes that's all you can do

Sorry to hear that but at least as you said there is another drug to try.

When the biologics work, they seem like miracle drugs, but there is a significant population for whom they don't seem to work. I often wonder if there is a different mechanism at play that is causing the disease/inflammation. MAP intrigues me for that reason....but I suspect that MAP treatment only helps a part of the population as well.....it's all so completely frustrating!! I hope the Entyvio works for you!
