I am 1 week post op and feeling pretty good. I feel so thankful for this board and for all the suport I received. They took 12inches of my smal bowel and 12inches of my colon. Dr was very pleased with how everything lined up and came together. The most difficult and painful was day 2-3 post-op. I'm now trying to adjust to my new appetite and diet. The most difficult part for me is trying to be a mom to a 4yo and a 24mo old - I feel guilty I can't do much for them... Hopefully after I recover I'll be feeling much better and it'll all be worth it 💕
I'm curious as to when I will start back on Cimzia - I meet with my GI Doctor in two weeks. Again, feeling blessed that I'm recovery so well and pray that this continues and there isn't any complications.
Thank you Again for your support - I never had been so anxious for anything in my life as I was for this surgery.
