Butt cheek pimples

Yes, I did just say that. Does anyone else get frequent pimples on their cheeks? Having had one fistula, I first panic that it is the start of an abscess/fistula. Then I realize it is pimple and sometimes a very large pimple that is tender and sometimes causes a little nerve twinge. It's hard to see them in their locale even with an extra mirror. I break them after a shower, they bleed and take forever to heal even with Neosporin (everything on me takes forever to heal though). I am a pretty clean person (colorectal doc said I actually over clean). Why do I get so many of these? At my age, acne of any cheeks should be done!

I think part of the problem is due to our whacky immune systems and/or medications. I have breakouts in my 50s that I didn't have in my teens. Really annoying. I have to use a touch of benzoyl peroxide cream added to my unscented Neutrogena moisturizer. You can use benzoyl peroxide on places aside from the face, but keep in mind that it will bleach colored clothing it comes into contact with.
