Seton and surgery for perianal abscess

So I had what was supposed to be a seton placement Friday. My surgeon said things we're a lot worse than expected. I had 2 fistulas that she placed setons in and opened an abscess which has resulted in a quarter sized open wound. She also said my rectum was so strictured she couldn't even fit her finger in so she opened that up as best as possible. Needless to say I have been hurting this weekend and pain meds have only been somewhat helpful. I feel like they're just making me sleepy.

Has anyone had a similar procedure? These setons are annoying and I really can't see myself tolerating them very long. How long can I expect pain? I am supposed to meet with my surgeon this week but she basically said my crohns does not seem to be under control. This is further complicated by the fact that I've tried every biological available. She mention cannibis oil, but my GI is def not on board with that and I don't know that I am either. It's all so frustrating at at this point I can't even say the surgery was worth it because I'm more uncomfortable than I was before.
