WBC is 14

Would you say that this is high, even with Crohn's? Normal goes up to 10.8, and I usually hang out there between 10 and 11. Went to the ER tonight after my whole body just hurting on an 8 all weekend, plus I am having difficulties controlling my body, and this morning I had some vaginal bleeding (NOT my period) and then some blood in solid stool all mixed into it.

I just feel rotten. Then on the drive home, I had to pull over to throw up, even though I'd gotten IV phenergan and pain meds there.

So tired. I have to wake up in 2 hours to pump. And I just feel rotten. Why on earth don't we have a sick emoticon on this page? The closest we've got is this

Oh that's not graphic, lol - I actually already have one and have had it for about 4 years. :) The ER doctor did a pelvic exam and didn't notice any active bleeding from either exit, so whatever it was, it wasn't much. But I did have a CBC run a couple of weeks ago, and it was 10.8, so to have it be 14 now is indicative of something, but I just don't know how troubling that something would be with the WBC at that level.

I have been there before. I had a WBCs count of 14 and a neutrophil count of 92%. I was admitted to hospital then but when they informed my GI, he sent me back home with iv antibiotics every 12 hrs for a week. That was many years ago before I have started entocort, Imuran and definitely remicade. My Crohn's wasn't under control then.

Not much clue about the high WBC, to be honest. Hope it isn't anything serious and you feel better soon, though.
