Cobblestoning in the terminal ileum is often seen in Crohn's disease, but it can also be a result of other conditions. What exactly did they find in the biopsies to make them report "not suggestive of Crohn's disease?"
What kind of MRI did you have? No contrast at all, not oral nor IV contrast?
Steroids *might* have reduced inflammation to the point that it didn't show up on the MRI, but to really see the small bowel clearly, the MRI needs to be done with both oral and IV contrast.
Find out exactly what the biopsy report says they found in the biopsies. It could still be Crohn's, but it could be other things as well (allergies, other "autoimmune" conditions, etc).
