I posted a thread a few days ago but I forgot to mention this issue!

Just wondering if anyone else suffers with swollen glands? The glands in my neck and groin are always swollen and never go down. The ones in my armpit swell up every couple of weeks and get quite painful but go down after a few days. I don't feel like I have a virus.

It's been like this for about a year. I have a consultation with the GI next week so i will mention it then. Just wondering if it can be bowel related?

Swollen lymph nodes are often a sign of an infection, or virus present in the body. You could even get them when battling a cold of flu. You really should get to your Doctor for a full blood screening.

I wouldn't get overly concerned, but should have it checked out just the same.

Hi thanks for the reply.

Well that's what I thought but I haven't had an infection or virus at all the only thing I'm unwell with is my bowel situation. Does anyone know if they can swell due to inflammation?

I have a doctor's app and GI app next week so I will mention it at both!

It could be from parasites.
