Upper stomach pain?

I’ve had Crohn’s for almost 15 years now and I can’t recall ever having upper stomach pain (more like an ache).

First happened last Friday after lunch, was very noticeable ache and lasted for a couple hours. However later that night I went to a party, drank a lot of beers and ate a lot of pizza, no ache (beer usually upsets my stomach, non Crohn’s related)

Saturday nothing, but Sunday once again I got the ache after lunch. Since Sunday, I sometime notice the ache (very very mild), but it could be in my head, that’s how little it’s there.


Any idea what this can be? Doctor didn’t think much of it when I called. I told him bathroom habits were normal and no fever. He just said it’s probably not crohns.


Thoughts?

When I have upper-stomach pain, especially right after a meal - it usually means I have a little bit of a bacterial imbalance. It happens after I eat out, usually. I blame weird out-of-my-house germs that my gut isn't used to. Doc used to rx xifaxin, but I have discovered that a dropper or two full of colloidal silver for a day or two eliminates it. Maybe the beer changed the ph enough to calm things, but then the bacteria overpopulated again or something. Sooo hard to say. Colloidal silver might be something you wanna check out, though, especially if it happens again after dining out.

I had a pain in my upper abdomen at the base of my right ribs. It turned out I had non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. So you should see a gastroenterologist.
