 I saw this on an artists thread, they made words up from their middle names, it was all very creative, i was having an off day and all my words evolved around this disease, so I thought I'd open it up to  my fellow crohnies.   My middle name is Jean so here goes.....................

E.................eat.   Yea right

A................accute. 

N..................No for all the foods I daren't comsume.

Okay, since I'm on a self-pity trip today...My middle name is Gayle "which I go by anyway".

A.......Antagonistic....what my guts are!
Y.......Yearn....for anything fat, dairy or green!
L.......Lunatic...what this yeast infection is making me!

ill play! but im in a crappy mood today (pun intended) so imna play dirty

M- my rear hurts

A- arent fissures, hemmies and colonoscopies fun

R- ranting a lot about my CD which has gotten worse

I- i keep having accidents

E- everything sucks about CD

ok now ill try to play good

M- my mom and dad are helping me thru this so much

A- at this point i am actually working (first time in 2 years)

R- rest--hopefully ill get some tonight

I- ice cream-- id love to eat some right now

E- eat-- ANYTHING tastes good on prednisone

R... Ranting doesn't help but I do feel better afterwards

R...regrets about all the things I have missed out on with my family

I have two middle names, so I am just going to do the first one

E...enjoy everything
L...love strongly
I...investigate (all options)
Z...zoo (as in my bathroom smells like a)
A...angst (is not just for teenagers)
B...believe (that doc is right)
E...eeeek (I have to schedule an upper GI)
T...trust (that doc is right)
H...HealingWell.com (can really help you feel less alone)

M = many foods i can no longer eat
I = icky-ness i get when i eat the foods i shouldn't be eating!
C = calcium i started talking with prednisone
H = helpless, the way i feel at times
E = EATING and how much i miss it
L = life long disease that i will over come
L = low sodium, low sugar, low fat = LOW FUN!
E = everyday i swallow 22+ pills :/

My middle name is short and sweet so I'll give it a go.


A...Always living for today
N...Never giving in
N...Nothing can get me down


Now how I really feel....

A...avoiding talking about the pain for my families sake.
N...Never feeling normal
N...Noticing every ache, pain, gurgle, cramp, toot, scent, morsel I eat, bowel movement.


Wouldn't it be nice not to have to think about this crap.....

D- Diarrhea sucks!!!
A- Almost didn't make it home today without feeling like I was going to pass out from a pain attack while driving- so scary. Better now.
M- Maybe I can help make someones live easier with this disease by being on this site
N- Not letting this illness win me over (even though sometimes I feel like I am going to)

Hey, things like this are good! And I am happy to see so many doing it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dustspeck -- my middle name's Michele too -- but with one L

M - Mom - being a mom is the best and most important thing about my life

Darn, I can't play this one. My parents only gave a middle name to my baby brother. His middle name is Irwin - so I'm kinda glad my parents just gave me a first name. lol
