Is my 6-MP keeping my infection from going away?

Do any of you stop taking your immunosuppressant when you are trying to cure an infection? I have been on a couple of types of antibiotics trying to cure a simple female bacterial infection and it keeps coming back. I am at my wits end. What could be causing this?

Did they do a culture and change the antibiotic according to what fights that specific bacteria? I always took my antibiotics along with my 6MP. You may have a bacteria that's just tough to get rid of or possibly a little resistant. It may take time.

Yea, they did do a culture twice actually. I guess I'll be taking flagyl for another week to try again. I hate the stuff. It makes me so thirsty and dehydrated, no matter how much water I drink. It wrecks my skin, too.
