Diarrhea

I have had this diarrhea now for over a year.  Diagnosed with crohns about 5 weeks ago. Have had lots of c.diff tests but all negative.  Still trying to figure out the cause of this.  Usually about 5-7 times a day.  Do you think it is still the crohns.  IF so, wouldn't I see a decrease in it since I am on meds for crohns??

I have had diarrhea for almost 40 yrs., since my first foot of ileum was removed. But I think a lot can be controlled by diet and meds. I could only tell I was flaring when the D got worse, and felt worse, because I don't get much abd. pain unless I obstruct . Some folks have tried adding fibre supplements or bile salt meds which can help.
