I've just been put on a bp meds. My pressure was running at 169/103 and the like. I don't take prednisone, but there are so many things I can't eat with my CD that I end up eating things that will contribute to higher cholesterol etc. All the good bp reducing things like veggies, fruit, oats, aggravate my CD so I end up eating a lot of pasta and breads, mashed potatoes etc.
I have to use a scooter now ( due to MS) and so have gained a lot of weight in the last 4 years. I used to walk 3 mile everyday. Needless to say , without the walking, I've become a fatty....with high blood cholesterol and high blood pressure. Things just seem to go from bad to worst.
