Hey guys I have been doing real good lately with my disease in the fact Ive had no pain and such. I do have inflamation but yesterday i ate one of those tarantini panzarotti's and ever since then I feel like death. Could one peice of food ruin everything? I puked it up 4 hours after i ate it, my stomach feels like it did when I had a blockage, my lower left side feels like an abcess is coming the way it started on my right side last year. Thing is I didnt feel like this at all until I ate that gooey thing and now this is crazy how crappy I feel. Any advice on what I should do?

Hi John never heard of that think you ate but sure hope it never makes it's way here. Are you keeping an eye on your temp? Try not to stress out too much maybe you just neeed to get rid of your stomach contents. Some times something don't agree with us. See how things go tomorrow. I know what you mean about
abcess's there no fun and neither are blockages. Keep in touch. lol gail

John,
Yes, I 've had a flare after eating just one forbidden food. For now, like Gachrons suggested, keep an eye on your temperature. Drink ( or try) lots of fluids , get plenty of rest and if in 2 days or so you are not better, see your doctor or head to the ER. If you have any strictures, something could have become lodged or stuck. So sorry you are going thru all this. Good luck to you. '
Love and prayers,'

Isn't that a deep fried food? Then definitely. When I have any kind of inflammation, anything fried/high fat/greasy will ruin my inflamed but out of pain haze.

Feeling a little better, still have a slight fever. I took it easy the past 2 days though so I should be good. Never eating one of them again

I feel your pain! I (stupidly) had just a few bites of a tiny Hershey's dark chocolate bar (first chocolate -- or real food -- in over a month) this morning and have had pain, D and misery all day. Don't know what I was thinking. Hope you continue to feel a bit better and hope both of us get smarter about
what we decide to eat!
