Age 31,finally dx'd.I had been really sick since age 23 & first started symptoms at age 7.

22 or 23 years old, problems since I was about 8 or 9 years old

38 or 39 but had pain and other symptoms a few years earlier. I did have iritis, which is associated with cd, since my early 20's. Otherwise I was healthy til cd hit.

I was Dx'd at age 20 in Feb 01'. I have been on asacol, prednisone and 6mp. I actually decided to manage my disease thru diet rather than drug cocktails. Until they can determine what is causing my disease I refuse to be a guinea pig for drug companies. I deal with pain on a daily basis, but at this point I have learned to deal with it. I refuse to get diabetes due to steroids and I couldn't stand the way 6mp made me feel. I meditate when I have pain and it usually subsides. I will use the power of my mind before I use any more drugs.

I was 46 but I had symptoms for 10 years before I was diagnosed
