While CD can effect any part of the intestinal tract from the mouth to anus, it is not possible to say if the sores you are having in the back of your throat are related to CD. Aphthous ulcers are quite common among those with CD. However, I have not personally seen them appear "white." Could you have thrush? It causes white patches, usually on the tongue or gums but can happen in the throat. Could you have strep throat? My daughter gets strep almost every year and seldom has a sore throat in spite of the infection.
Is there some reason you can't have your primary doc or GI look at this and make sure it doesn't need treatment?
