Transporting Humira

What is the best option for carrying Humira on a trip. Probably be 2 syringes max on a plane. Wife is nervous about the trip. Thanks

Dry Ice? Make sure you have a letter from your doctor or pharmacy explaining what it is, why it is a necessity, etc.

You may want to call the airline or airport to see what the regulations are.

You may want to call your insurance company. It might be possable to pick up your medication at your destination instead of at home. But I would get that in writing before planning on it.

How long is the plane ride? If it's only a few hours, you can use the travel kit that came in the big Humira kit from your doctor. Otherwise, I'm not quite sure, I'd call your doctor to be sure. And, definitely get a letter stating why you need to have syringes on the plane.

I have the travel kit from Humira for the pens. Nurse said it is no problem to take on plane. Keep with carry-on and let them know. and keep the rx label with the pens
