abcess/fistula symptoms?

I am in so much pain. Vicodin isn't working. I have narrowing but not sure if it's scarring or inflammation. I have pressure and noises like something is filling up inside. My back is killing me too. I have BM's but they are painful and liquid. I have started to notice a ***** smell too. I know this is gross. My doc is out of town. I have a low fever but with chills and the sweats. Nausea too. I don't know what to watch for. Is this regular CD symptoms or something more?

Thanks Gail. Right now I am on almost dbl vicodin. I am going to go into ER in the am after my son goes to school. Both my GI's are out of state at a conference. My family is supportive and helping me out a bunch. I'm actually looking forward to the morning to get some relief.

Went ER. The CT scan didn't show anything but they kept me for pain, vomitting and diarrhea. My docs are gone until today. No GI close by, we live in a rural county so there aren't many GI's around. The gave me diluadid for home. So basically the kept me overnight and sent me home with more powerful drugs. I'm still having the same symptoms now I am just more loopy! I really need to go poo. It's been two days but I am passing gas. Although I have to push it out like a BM. It caused me to have an accident in ER, very embarassing. It's just a waiting game now. I figure if it gets bad enough I'll go in by ambulance. Hard to tell since they gave me dilaudid. When it no longer works I guess I'll know. Any suggestions on how to have a BM? All plugged up.
