I just finished helping my daughter make a cloud costume out of upholstery foam and fiberfill. Very cute. My middle son is at that age where he wants to go out, but thinks he might be too old (I hope he goes and has fun.) My oldest son has decided to ignore Halloween and asked to go to temple, where they're having a special program about
why Halloween shouldn't be celebrated by Jews. Fine with me, but he's trying to make everyone feel guilty about
celebrating, which is hypocritical since he's had years of fun, costumes and candy. Am trying to convince younger kids to relax and do what they want. (Sigh) Teenagers...
broomhilda -- we have done the exact same thing with the glove/hand/ice for punch.
I have a visit with my GI on Tuesday -- will be discussing Remicade I guess.
Am trying not to buy Halloween candy until the last minute. I've been very careful and haven't had chocolate or sweets in about
8 weeks -- but am worried that so much in the house will be hard for me. House is decorated -- we've got glowing haunted houses and ghost lights. Pumpkins are purchased and ready for carving.
Missed two days of work this week due to low fever, chills, D, -- not sure if it's more flare or the flu, but it's a bummer and has aggravated what I guess are hemorroids (sp?) which hurts (as you all know).
So despite this sort of grumpy message, Happy Halloween to all!
