everytime I have a BM and I wipe it's like mushed banana....is that mucus mixed in with stool?
I am currently in a flare and that's a new symptom....

Yes, most likely it's mucus. Some mucus is normal, but massive amounts can be secreted during periods of inflammation...just your body's way of trying to protect itself.

I have that sometimes too, my GI said it was nothing to be concerned about
