I would be the one who started a post about
taking the pill Fastin. I love it! And I am not taking the easy way out, if thats what you think. I could no longer eat the "healthy foods" that I loved so much before all of this chaos. I tried every kind of diet there was. I also exercised, but my fatigue would effect that greatly. My doctor said the next option was this pill. He said it would help me portion my foods and hopefully help my hunger cramps (I had these even if I wasn't truly hungry). It would also help with my fatigue and I would gradually have more energy. It did exactly that and some. I have no cramps on top of no Crohn's related pains.
Fastin may help you portion your meals, but there is still many things you have to do yourself. I did not lose 20 lbs. by eating whatever I wanted and not exercising. I do not eat unhealthy foods. I was never a ice cream, cake, candy, or any sweet type person to begin with. I stopped drinking soda altogether (even diet) and drink nothing but water and tea. And because I do have my energy back...I joined a local women's gym (Ladies' Workout). I work out about 3 to 4 times a week during my lunch break. I rarely eat fast food and have learned that I still have Crohn's and no matter how great I feel....I cannot eat the foods I loved (salad, veggies, fruits, nuts, etc.) without any reprocutions (sp?)
I recommend it, but only if you plan on doing your part in your quest to be healthy and lose weight. You still have to work at it, but I found that this pill helped tremendously.
