Just wondering if anyone has intestinal migraines, what their symptoms are, and what they do for it. I have had almost monthly, sometimes bimonthly migraines, accompanied with vomiting, for the past 18 months. I become exceptionally tired and unwell 3 days before, then continue to suffer with a nauseating headache and fatigue days after. Some were associated with excruitating "labourlike" pain. Tests showed a stricture, and nothing helped (tried various procedures + drugs for a year) I was sick all the time. So I Had resection surgery in Aug. , 42cm removed, thinking this was the cause of all my nausea and headache. Anyway, the migraines are still there,as well as vomiting, but no labour pain. The first one was one month after surgery. I just can't seem to get back to feeling well. Seems like there's more going on here. Dr. said maybe I have intestinal migraines or another stricture. Waiting to hear back on another colonoscopy. Just wondering if anyone has information related to these migraines. Also, in the meantime, have removed gluten, dairy, egss, sugar, all of the well known allergens from my diet because I'm desperate and have been reading a lot here about gluten and dairy! Could those of you with trouble with these foods tell me what symptoms you have. Much appreciated!
