Can anyone suggest a good hypoallergenic wipe? I use Charmin wipes occasionally, but they tend to irritate my already irritated booty. Something without fragrance or dyes would be great. I've checked the tp aisle at the grocery store, and never found anything. I haven't explored the diaper aisle yet, but if that's where the good stuff is, that's where I'll shop!

I don't remember the exact name of the type I use but the package is a turqouise color. They are very cheap, under $1 for a whole pack. They are usually with the tampons and pads.

Check the list of ingredients and only use ones that don't contain alcohol. I think Cottonelle is the one brand i've found without alcohol. A crohn's booty doesn't need another thing to irritate it!!

They make baby wipes for sensitive skin/newborns that have no dyes or fragrance but they are not flushable. You can also get flushable ones for kids that are potty training. I have used the Kandoo brand I think it is from Pampers but it has light fragrance in it.
The thing that I recommend though is getting a squirt bottle (not a spray bottle) that you can keep in your bathroom and fill with water. You can easily rinse yourself off and don't have to further irritate your skin by wiping. A nurse gave me one of these when I can home after having a baby and its been very helpful lately when things down there are not feeling so great.

I don't know if you have a Walgreens in your area or not but I use the Walgreens brand and they work wonderful. Fragrence free and pretty cheap too.

I like Tucks pads or Preparation H pads. They contain no fragrance. It's main ingredient is witch hazel. They are more expensive than the other wipes, though. You'll find them in the hemmorhoid/laxative isle. Hope this helps! Julie

I just bought some for my FIL (who has terminal cancer) and found a store brand that has no scent, no alcohol, and has vitamin D and aloe added to them. So far so good. You just have to read the ingredients.
