Medical Insurance, What do You have?

I also have United (PPO) and it pays 100% for my Remicade. But my husband owns his own business and I pick out the insurance plan for his company so I can have the best coverage!

Check out what the PPO offers, mine has $1200 deductible, but pays 100% after that - and the Remicade is no copay or deductible.

Ok I have been with Kaiser since 1982. I am pretty happy with it. I have been with them for all of my Crohns years except for the first 7 years. I have had pretty good luck with my care. If I was unhappy with one doc I was always able to change to another one. I have all my specialists and a great family doctor too. I get whatever meds I need. I take Percoset and have no problems getting it filled. You have so many options available with them and many different clinics to choose from. And I don't break the bank when I need a test or special meds. Just about everything is paid for. Just wanted to give you a positive experience. Good Luck!

Providers do not want to contract with United health care because their reimbursement averages 25-30 percent less than most other insuranaces. Kaiser is great as far as low out of pocket, but they can be difficult in getting appointments, or moving forward with procedures/expensive diagnostics.
