I ate possible e. coli infected beef!

Hey how bad can my digestive system be   tongue ....I ate beef that is recalled for e.coli  skull   and I am doing great.

Well, it was cooked well in meatballs I made on Halloween.  I even ate more of the meatballs twice since then.  I believe I cooked them well enough that it kills any bacteria.  It was weird though that our grocery store called us that we bought recalled beef---hate those "big brother tracks you, only get a sale price if you use our card" programs, but I guess that is an upside to them.

The grocery said to bring in the beef for a refund....do you think they would refund two pounds of price for one last meatball in sauce!

My guts can attack anything!!!!!

Habs- glad you are feeling a-ok. I bet they are recalling more than they need to just to be safe. As far as "big brother" I heard a story once about a guy who slipped and fell in the super market and sued. The super market wanted to say that the guy fell because he was drunk (comparative negligence) instead of because of the stores negligence. They used his "savings card" record to show how much alcohol he bought on a daily basis. I don't know how the case ended.

why not take in 2lbs of doody? and say "here ya go!"

i have often though about getting food poisoning, but how would i know??!! hmm, big D, cramps, gas, pain, seems like i would never be able to tell right?

I'd take the last ball in just to see the look on there face and who knows it could be the ball that makes you sick. Ha ha Just take good care of yourself. You don't need any more problems with the innards then you already got . lol gail

I did the same thing with Stop and Shop. I had already eaten it when they announced the recall. I was fine, considering. Maybe it was cooked just enough

scary stuffs lady! glad that the bad meat didin't wreck any more havoc on you then you already have to deal with! sheesh!

Ever notice that most of the side effects listed for the prescription drugs we take for CD list all of those?  I have often wondered...if i take this drug and my symptoms persist....maybe i am acctually cured, but the drug is now causing problems.....

hspenser- Excellent point! I often wondered if pred is messing with my female hormones, how can I take a progesterone test to determine whether or not I've officially gone through menopause? Wouldn't that screw with the test results? No need to respond...I already know the answer!
