OT: Even Crohn's doesn't cause this...

Two nights ago before going to bed, my two year old daughter had to go to the potty. She said "My bottom hurts". I said "It does". She started nodding her head and stood up so I could see. I carefully looked not knowing if she had a raw bottom or not. After looking I said, "Honey I don't see anything". She said "It's Blue and Shiny".

C2! I wondered what happened to you. I haven't heard from you in forever. Next year's Rolex maybe we can get together. Maybe we should start asking the people on here to make plans now to meet us :) I think a lot of people went to John Henry's "funeral".

My youngest is 2 and the one you met is now 5 and in kindergarten. I don't know where the last 5 years have gone :)

As for my crohn's, I'm actually in remission for now. The Apheresis trial I had to get out of because of the prostatitis I went through last year. I did make it to the fifth treatment though so I can go back again for free if I need to in the future. After that trial I went into the Humira study. I ended those treatments when it was finally approved and at that point I was declared to be in remission. I have been off everything since March.

However, this past week and a half things have been a bit different. I went to the ER on the 4th due to a abscess and possible fistula. They did the 20 minute surgery and I got to go home after 3 days - funny how 20 minutes can turn into 3 days, huh? Anyway, we have a new surgeon that deals with conditions of the bottom and he was great. Turns out it was just an abscess and no fistula involved this time.
