I have Crohn's disease, fibromyalgia, migraines, kidney stones (once), tendonitis, bursitis, eczema, IBS, high blood pressure, allergies, asthma, insomnia and anxiety.  I had thyroid cancer in 1989 and underwent a radioactive iodine treatment.  I am currently being evaluated for borderline low kidney function and by my oncologist for two lung nodules in the left lung.

I've been telling my friend--a medical librarian--and my husband this for years now. I truly believe there is some type of process breakdown which leads to some sort of syndrome.

Anyway, while I've yet to be definitively diagnosed with Crohn's I do have:

endometriosis, adenomyosis, arthritis (suspected CD-related), peripheral neuropathy, frequent kidney stones, migraine, allergies, recurrent pancreatitis (also suspected CD-related.)

i have crohns, peri-anal crohns, endometriosis, intersticial cystitis, and have had 2 large dermoid cysts on my ovaries. (one was removed in 2000, one was just found)
i was lactose intolerant since i was little, and have gotten cold sores in my nose since about 12.

im convinced its all related.

Crohns Diseas, probable Ms, gallstones, kidney stones, collpased jaw bones, arthritis, Gerd, anxiety , depression , restless leg syndrome, vertigo , migraines

....and as the saying goes "When the going gets tough, the tough GO SHOPPING!". seriously addicted to thrift shopping.

oops...and menopause which is not a diseas but a pain in the a......

Hmmmm...no shopping disease for me (being fat is a sure cure for me) :-)

CD, degenerative disc disease-lower spine, arthritis, pernicious anemia, chronic sinus infections

Crohns...Pyoderma Gangrenosum...anxiety / panic ......being checked for others ......
Quite a few with anxiety and panic or just anxiety I believe due to chronic illness??

Mondayitis..........................most definately. ;-) Me and my husband. Yesterday he left for work, came back in for his wallet, left again returned this time for his sun glasses, ten minutes passed I was confident he was finally on his way. :-)

Crohn's
GERD
IBS (which I think is Crohn's)
Arthritis (the kind you get from Crohn's, I can never spell it)
Osteoporsis
Endometriosis (prior to Hystorectomy)
B12 def.
Depression (I wonder why???)

Thanks Krysta, I will ask about tramadol and zoloft next time I see the psych NP. Maybe I need to just go slower with it, starting with a very small dose. I did read though that they are educating ER doctors around the country about this growing problem as more people take these meds. Its calle d "serotonin syndrome".

WOW! What a great response so far! I can't believe how many of us have the same illnesses not necessarily connected to CD. Weird.

I forgot to add former surgeries: tonsillectomy, eye surgery, tear duct surgery and gallbladder removal.

And illnesses/symptoms: IBS, PMS (HA), gallstones, kidney stones, skin and eye inflammation, chest pains, memory loss, mental fog, numbness and tingling.

Hey, I wonder how many of you are also on anti-depressants? I was just put on one for my migraines a couple of months ago and my digestive tract has completely slowed down! It has been a miracle drug, other than the side effects of extreme sleepiness. I am only going to the bathroom once a day, which I haven't done in the past 7 years. Just wondering if anyone else experienced this as well.

CD, GERD, Osteoporosis, B12 Def., Migraines, Gallbladder removed, Joint issues - but not clear what the cause is.

Crohn's, IBS, Kidney stones and Type 2 diabetes(thanks Prednisone). I hate that drug.

Oh, and also arthritis and dislocated tailbone. Other than that, I'm perfectly healthly.

Weird, I keep seeing CD complications listed as independant illnesses. Do they count? I'm not going to count any CD complicationts...
Crohn's disease of course.. Osteoarthritis. Scoliosis ( not a disease per se, but a birth defect). High Blood Pressure. One bout of bipolar or clinical depression in high school. Enlarged prostrate. 2 protruding vertebal discs..

Isn't osteoarthritis connected to CD?  Not saying you HAVE to have CD in order to get it but just like many of the eye conditions people get that are related to their CD.

No, CD arthritis is closer to Rheumatoid actually..
Well, maybe there is a link but its not like our arthritis, a bit more age related. Also, the arthritis in the mind of the general public. No matter, all the kinds of arthritis BITE. Oh well..

Still, I'm not including stones, rheumatoid-like conditions, mouth sores etc. because those are all CD related & well known.

Well here I go...
Crohn's, IBS, Ovarian Cysts, Iron Deficient Anemia, Hereditary Spherocytosis (hemolytic anemia), Anxiety, Allergies to meds, and basically the earth, asthma, polyarthralgia/arthritis, Gilbert's, Gall-stones at age 6 from my spherocytosis, Splenectomy also at age 6 from the spherocytosis, tonsils and adenoids out due to chronic huge lymph nodes (remicade infections), chronic strep throat (before the tonsils out), Migraines, Pyroderm Gangranosum, GERD, and basically my body as a whole has no idea what it is doing disease.

Guys, not to make light of your ailments, but you all made me feel so blessed.   I have only have Crohn's (with anal fistula), slight scoriasis of hands and feet, and constant heartburn (which I keep under control with pepcid AC).

I knew I was lucky (so far) but this thread just reiterated that for me.

I am missing the shopping gene, rare for a female, hee hee hee.  Besides crohn's I have anxiety/panic disorder, depression, high blood pressure, I'm growing thyroid nodules, and I also have Spondyloarthritis which is causing very painful bone spurs in my feet.

Crohn's, IBS, arthritis, possible ankylosing spondylitis, GERD, migraines, depression, anxiety, vulvodynia, 3 surgeries for torn cartilage in both knees, allergies, very dry skin, anemia. I'm sure I've forgotten something!!

Again, too many CD complications are being listed as Independant entities. If you have Crohn's having kidneystones, gallstones, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Pyroderma gangrenosum, etc. are ALMOST certainly maifestations of CD. Not diseases in themselves..

Hello friends,

It is so good to be able to hear about what others are going through with this disease, I hate that you all are sick but sometimes you get so down.

I have crohns, arthritis and possible MMS, I a numb on my right side have been for over a year now and for the last 3 weeks I have blurred vision in my left eye and they don't know if its from the lession on my brain or if its the crohns. ANd lately I am hurting in myleft side and pain in my stomach. I am really tired of hurting.

Crohns since 1998, before that in 1993 gallbladder surgery, 1994 append. surgery,  1994, explor. surgery and was also diagonsed with having spasms in my colon, so I think I probably had crohns before I was ever really majorly sick with it. I was really sick for like 3 months straight not being able to eat and lost a lot of weight and went for test after test before they diagnosed me with crohns.

Crohn's Fibromyalgia General Anxiety Disorder Fibrocystic breast disease (not that bothersome but I get lumps that scare me to death sometimes) Arthritis (possibly something else still working on this with Rheumy) And probably soemthing I Forget Karen

Aside from Crohn's, a kidney stone (thankfully, only once), and some occasional arthritis when I lived in cold Idaho (much better now here in west Texas). But I had some nasty bouts of tropical disease when I lived in Asia, including malaria (twice) and scrub typhus (very similar to Rocky Mountain spotted fever). Scrub typhus is caused by the bite of a chigger, a bug much smaller than a grain of sand (you need a magnifying glass to see them) - nearly killed me. Sometimes it's the little things that will get you.
