Had my lung function test today.

Hi got my lung test done today. Seem to go fairly well I guess did lots of huffing and puffing and didn't blow my pants off which was an added bonus.  Just thinking if the lungs blew as good as the butt I wouldn't have to worry ha ha.Takes awhile to get the results back but for some of it I was showing the low side of normal which is better then below normal. Will see how it goes .I started smoking when I was 12 so have puffed a good many years. I am retaining some air when breathing out .Got threw it anyway and still got to go for banana bread and coffee my favorite treat at the hospital. Gotta love those cozy little cafe's they have. lol gail

Smoke free since 1/1/06 after 20+ years, but I know how it can take your breath away. Now all the smoke is exhaled out the other end. Glad your test went pretty well.

LOL, still smoking and able to blow through the test! Although there was a slight change between the last test and this past one. I like it when they put you in the chamber and put a clothes pin on your nose. That has got to be the best! If the technician that I had ever loses her job, she could work as a motivation speaker! She was doing a lot of yelling, "keeping blowing, keep blowing!"
