crohn's and arthritis

Can anyone shed some light on the relationship between crohn's and arthritis....I have recently begun to experience some joint pain and want as much info as possible.

I suffer from arthritis due to Crohn's. Sometimes it can be exacerbated by medications, too. If you're tapering off of pred, you may be beginning to flare again. My understanding is basically, Crohnnies have so much inflammation that it often involves the eyes and joints. Tylenol Arthritis helps take the edge off of my joint pain.

Hi and welcome the both of you,it is not uncommon for people with crohns to have joint pain and there are alot of us that have more than one auto immune diseae.So if you keep haveing alot of joint pain talk to you doctor if you have not done so. your doctor may decide to send you for test to make sure that you don't have something else going on.
