My colonoscopy & endoscopy is this Monday at 8.30. actually I just missed a message from the endoscopy center regarding the prep.
I hope they let me do Fleets, I know I won't manage Go-lytely. I have to call in the morning so she can explain, no mention of a prescription
so hopefully it is Fleets. The procedure is being done with the white sleepy stuff, so this time I should be out of it. I've had 3 scopes now where
the Versed didn't work. So I told them it wasn't going to happen again. LOL.
My MRCP is on Wednesday, no prep, just starve from midnight. I guess it's just like a regular MRI, but they will inject secretin, and then watch
the pancreatic function.
I will be so pleased to get these done and get me on some kind of treatment. I'm getting frazzled and still in pain.

Good luck with your scope and I hope the med you are given works for you as the Versed did not.  Sorry to hear that.

I'm so glad you finally have your tests lined up. It turned out that they still took until December, what a long wait for you. I hope you get to take the fleets, much easier to just power down. Hopefully, you'll get a nice, peaceful sleep during your scope, never heard of the "white sleepy stuff" but it sure sounds nice, lol. Reminiscent of white fluffy clouds.

The MRCP was pretty easy. I believe it took about 45 minutes, and they injected a contrast.

How's your "bump?"

The bump is still there, but not at all painful thank goodness.
The white sleepy stuff is an anesthetic it's name begins with a P, but that as much as I know, but it is good. Maybe you could look it up.
I want to call it Penthanol, but I'm probably way off...

I'm glad the MRCP was easy, I had a feeling it was. I am allergic to ct dye, this stuff isn't nothing like that, is it?

I always have to have premeds for contrast, but didn't need it for this test, of course since I had my CT scan the same day I had to get it anyway, lol. I would call and ask though, just so they know you have the allergy.
