this dang anti spam filter would work properly! i have a limited time here and sometimes its several minutes before i can post. sometimes i cant wait that long. does this happen to others? i have seen post about it before , so it must be an ongoing problem. thanks moderators for checking this out.

Ya know, I've had that problem before. I'll see if Kerry knows something that will help.

Update: I've been sick, Kerry's been sick, and I'm finally gonna bite the bullet and go to teh doc because my former boss/good friend emailed me and said his doc said borderline pneumonia. I'm done screwing around, this has been hanging on for two weeks at least. I missed thanksgiving and everything. Been too wiped out to work on presents or anything.

Yep...I come here in the short down times between work projects..haven't been able to post much lately becuase it's the busy season at work. But the filter has made it only possible to answer about one post a day. Ooo I gues this is it!

Garden...take care of yourself!!! Stop messing with the patient heal thyself theory....get some care and get rid of the crud! Feel better soon

I just give up and stop posting.  I am not sure if this is what the site owner wanted.  But in the current state, it is not working.  People are not coming back to answer questions  :(

Ive at least figured out that you have to wait until someone else on the board posts after your post and then you are free to post again. I agree that it is very very annoying but it helps to know when I can post again.

Admin is working on it. Something about the server and database clocks not syncing correctly. Please be patient.

Yeah I had the same problem the other night, I just gave up as well. I'm a busy Mom, so I just don't have the time to sit around and wait several minutes, or until someone else posts. Hope they fix it soon.

I emailed peter about this and he replied....

it appears to be a server hardware issue, not a software problem.

if i want to do multiple posts, i have to turn my computer off then turn it back on. closing the browser isnt good enough. it blows. so i very judiciously choose which posts to respond to. this has been going on for quite some time. very annoying to say the least. thanks for bringing this topic to the forefront. i hope it can get fixed very soon cos then i can litter every post with random off the wall totally unrelated comments.

I have never encountered any problems posting.  I know I don't post a lot but I have posted enough to think that I would run into this at least once but it has never happened. I do wonder why sometimes I have to log in and other times I don't.
