is this remission??????

Hi folks, just a quick? hahaha question.  I just noticed this morning that my pain seems to be going away.  It feels almost good!! or at least, almost normal for me.  I've been on the Imuran now for 1 month.  Is that long enough for it to be working?  I see my GI doc next week.My tummy is still sore but not near like it was.  YEA!!!!!!!  Thanks for the replies and thanks soooooo much for lettiing me vent.  WE all need that sometimes, I just hate to do it myself.  I've always and always been the care-giver,  never the care-needer!!!  That is why it is so hard for me I guess.  I take the daug. to the ob doc today for her checkup, I'll give you all an update on her later.  The other daug gets out of the hosp today, I've heard that I will have the pleasure of 2 granddaus for about a week while she recupes.  We'll see.    CURLEY,  I am only about 50 miles west of knox. on I40.  The sounthern tip of Morgan county, just up the mountain from roane county.  Know the area?????  Who is your GI doc?????   See you folks later,        granna

I am glad to here that you are feeling better. Whenever I hear of someone feeling better it gives me hope.

Hi folks, I'm only on 50mg Imuran right now, with alternating 20mg pred one day then 10mg the next. Hope to taper more next week when I see doc. What scares me is that I read all of you on higher doses of Imuran or other meds and I wonder if my doc is doing what he needs to do. He hasn't said yet if or when he will up the Imuran. Well generally it depends on your weight and they determine your dose that way, some respond to low doses tho, the lower the better they hope for :)
