sharp pains.

Ok so everything is normal for the most part but for the past couple of days i've been having random sharp pains that last for about a second then go away. A really painful second.. it feels like its in the rectum, dont know for sure, but its definitely coming from that area.. It feels almost like someone is trying to rip my intestines apart, but it only lasts for a second, and i get the pain maybe a couple times within a 10 minute span then they go away.. I know its not much info but does anybody know what could be causing it?? thanks

Sounds like a possible fissure, or tear, in the rectum.   Fissures can cause extremely sharp pain - like someone sticking a knife up the rectum.   Sometimes it's constant pain, but other times, it may come and go, like yours.    You should go to a doctor to find out for sure what's going on.
