Flu Like symptoms

Im thinking about getting a flu shot tomorrow but Im worried I may get flu like symptoms right before christmas. Has anyone gotten a shot and had this?

I received my flu shot earlier this year, and I did not have any flu like symptoms from it at all. However, I get them every year, and I haven't had any sort of flu like symptoms with any of the shots.

My doctor highly recommended it for me since I'm on immunosuppressors, and colds/flu take forever for my body to fight off.

I have gotten a flu shot for years. This year, I have been on massive doses of prednisone, then Remicade and now Humira. Because your immune system gets suppresssed on these drugs, you are open to any bug that's around. I got a flu shot this year, as in the past, and had no problems at all.

At most, I've been achy for 24-36 hours after. Once or twice. Nothing else. YOU DO NOT GET THE FLU FROM DEAD VIRUS. It just doesn't happen.

If you need it, get it!

Hi I had the flu shot once years ago and got very sick never had one sincs so don;t know if that was a fluke but was the sickest ever. Some people do good with it have you had one before?lol gail

I get a Flu shot every year and I do fine no flu like symptoms at all.

never have had the flu and ive never gotten the shot but I work retail and started back at school and now have crohns so thought it might be smart to get one so ill be getting one in the next hour.

I got a flu shot this year after a bout with a 20 day cold and I was fine. My arm was kind of achy but I made sure to rub it a lot and move it around to get the vaccine movin

Hi I got my flu shot awhile ago. I took tylenol for a couple days it helps. You should not get flu like symptoms.while taking tylenol.
