I am from a little place called Wedowee. Have you ever heard of Lake Wedowee? My daughter goes to a GI in Birmingham. She has started to get her Remicade in Anniston because it is alot closer than Birmingham.

Ok my mother was born and raied in Montgomery Alabama and my two older sister and I our only brother were all born at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.My Dad was srationed at maxwell Airforce base there in Montgomery.I lived in Montgomery from the time I was born up into I was eight years old.I have a lot of relatives there.Do you know where Ann Street?is my late Grandmother lived on Locust street and Cherry st is right around the corner from there as well as Highland Ave.Do you know this part of Montgomery???????

I live in Knoxville TN,I all so lived in Greenwoos MS for 24 year I got devorced and had no family there so I moved back home were my amily lives.What part do you live in???????????

Hello 9ball and Curley! Yes!! I know of Wedowee and also Ann St. What a small world!

9ball, I've been considering going to Kirkland Clinic in B'ham--has your daughter been there? They are seen as "top notch" and "cutting edge" medical professionals in our area. You can make your own referral and don't need your current GI to do so, although eventually your current GI will know, as medical records would be sent via your request. I hope all is well with your daughter.

My daughter goes to Dr. Tobias from Birmingham Gastro. He used to be at Kirkland Clinic. Most of the Dr.'s at B'ahm Gastro came from Kirkland Clinic also. The reason that we started seeing Dr. Tobias was because our family Dr. recommended him. I would probably recommend someone from Kirkland Clinic. Dr. Tobias doesn't seem to want to try anything new. We wanted to try Angel on LDN but he wouldn't prescribe it. So we finally bite the bullet and started her on Remicade. She has had 3 infusions and it seems to be helping her a little bit.
