does the size of poop mean anything ?

Honestly I don't know what it means...but let me tell you, I hear ya! I'm 18 and really tiny...normally 95ish pounds (now like 86 with the Crohn's). Everyone thinks I have an eating disorder but I don't--the doctor thinks I just have a fast metabolism. Anyway, I've had the same thing a few times. I couldn't believe what came out of me...or how the hell it even got out. I like screamed for my mom. Once I had to just get it out on my own...the second time was with a laxative and still a lot pf pushing ugh. I've never given birth (lol) but pushing so hard that you end up peeing is definitely no fun...you think something inside you is gonna pop or something.

Maybe try a stool softener?

Haha I'm so greatful to these forums for allowing me to finally have somewhere that I can just talk about crap...literally. When you try to talk to friends and family who ask about your problem...some are easily grossed out and sometimes things are embarassing or inappropriate, and I just find it annoying that I'm the sick one and yet also the one who has to find a roundabout way of explaining the toilet issues. Thanks to everyone here for just letting it go with the "flow" haha ;] A little Crohn's humor anyone?

I've often wondered if the pain of pushing out a big hard turd was similar to giving birth because that's often what I feel like I'm doing : ) Haha! I take stool softners every day to keep that from happening. I use dulcolax (sp?) and it works well for me.
