joint pain

I recently started Remicade (end of August), and recently started experiencing joint pain (end of October). I feel like the two are related, and was wondering if anyone else had this problem while on Remicade. My doctor brought up Humira at my last visit. Has that helped anyone with joint pain? I was just wondering if there was anything that anyone on here had done to aleaviate this problem. Any information or ideas would be greatly appreciated. I'm 27 and I feel like i'm 90. Thanks in advance!

I was on Humira but wasn't getting enough coverage for the arthritis. I have AS but also went into a Crohn's-related arthritis flare, so I was switched to Remicade because the dosing is more adjustable. Methotrexate was added in, as well. Though it may seem that your joint pain is from the Humira, perhaps it is a change in your systemic condition. Best of luck and I hope you feel better.

Hi, I am on Remicade for over 2 years and This year I was also diagnosed with osteoarthritis. If I were you I would go and see a Rheumy doctor.
