I had a hydrosalpinx discovered this summer and had it removed (along with my ovaries and what was left of the other fallopian tube) in September. The hydrosalpinx was 5 cm wide and connected by scar tissue on one side to my bladder and on the other side to my colon. The surgeon was confident that it was not related at all to my Crohns. I had multiple cysts on both ovaries. He fixed my bladder too - hurray! - since it had been tilted all out of whack by all that stuff in there.
Now that all that is gone I'm still having minor pain in that lower right area so am waiting to see if it goes away after more healing takes place, or if it is terminal ileum pain, which is where most of my crohns is located.
for those of you wondering what a hydrosalpinx is - it's a swollen fallopian tube enveloped in an ovarian cyst. Usually benign but abnormal enough to need removal. Or so I was told. although my pcp sent me to an oncologist/pelvic surgeon, which wasn't supposed to scare me to death. 
I think he just knows I have good insurance and doesn't take any chances with my complicated health.
