Anyone pregnant on Pentasa?

I hear a lot more about pregnancy and Remicade, but anyone pregnant w/ Pentasa? My GI and OB are fine with it, and it is a class B, but I wanted to hear from others.

I'm not pregnant, but my GI and I have talked about pregnancy and taking pentasa.  He said it was perfectly fine and safe to take during pregnancy.

Not pregnant yet but my GI has no worries about me staying on Pentasa should I get pregnant. In fact, it's recommended. If you still have questions, contact the MotherRisk program at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto (www.motherisk.org) They know the effect of every medication on pregnancy and beyond.

I was pregnant on Pentasa. It is one of the safest Crohns meds. I miscarried, but it was not Crohns related. I am going to start trying again (on Pentasa) in about 4 wks.

I took 16 pentasas every day of my pregnancy (as well as before and after) and it was fine. My baby (now 6) is fine--no adverse effects whatsoever.

Thanks guys. There have been som many posts about remicade lately I was starting to wonder if anyone still bothered with Pentasa.
