Be careful

I had a bowel obstruction a few months back. I had a normal bowel movement before I went to bed. I woke up in the morning with nausea and stomach pain. I eventually started vomiting and couldn't stop. I was in the airport at the time waiting on a flight home. Finally, I just couldn't stand up anymore and had to be taken to a local hospital. They weren't sure initially if it might be a "bug" but after a scan, they knew it was an obstruction and started me on steroids. Just keep in mind that you can still have diarrhea with an obstruction. Don't wait too long to seek medical help if you continue to vomit. They were worried that I might end up with a perforated bowel and had a surgeon ready just in case.

By the way indigosunrise, I had taken several ibuprofen in the days leading up to the obstruction. In the hospital, the doctor told me that it can lead to a flare.
