I had my blood work done once again on friday.I get it done every 6 weeks to check everything.Well they just called me today and i have liver abnormalities once again.They were elevated in 2006 and they removed my gallbladder and now they are up again.I have to go on Thurs. morning to have an ultrasound of my urq.They are worried about this because I am on Remicade and it can affect the liver.Has anyone else had any problems with this????

I'm on Imuran and my liver enzymes are up, I heard the same thing happens with Remicade too.

I hate blood work, I had to go every week for a month, and now its every 2 weeks, thankfully soon every 4 weeks.. lol

My liver enzymes have gone up 3 different times during the last couple of years. I am on remicade and was on imuran up until a month ago. They monitor it for a couple of weeks, and do some redraws, and if it comes down then they don't do anything.

My lover values went up one time I was on Remicade. The values were not hugely elevated so they had me repeat the tests in a week. The values had returned to normal. I hope that the ultrasound shows you are in good shape!

my enzymes are like 544 instead of 144 so i will have to go have my ultrasound and see how that goes thanks for the info everyone.

My values were only sl elevated, but I was having some RUQ discomf. My commom bile duct was found to be dilated, this started when I was on remicade, now on humira. I have also been on pred 10 and entocort 6 all along too. I am awaiting biopsy results from an ERCP last week. An U/S was how they found the dilated commom bile duct
