Elemental Diet?

Hi everyone,

I've been on a liquid diet for the past few days in an attempt to give my poor intestines a bit of a break, and I'm curious about the elemental diet products available. Has anyone tried elemental nutrition? (It usually comes in powder form that you mix with water.) I've heard of patients receiving TPN after surgery, but I haven't heard much about elemental nutrition.
