Flagyl Question

Hi there, IMHO I think you should present to the clinic to verify that you truly have a UTI and not something else causing the back pain. A simple UA will confirm your suspicion and the right medication can be ordered.  Take your drug with you so the clinic may see what you were taking and if you could use it for UTI if you have an infection.

It's probably not a good idea. There are different classes of antibiotics that do different things. The bacteria that Flagyl kills may be different than the bacteria causing a UTI. Which antibiotic do you usually take for a UTI? It's possible that it's the same class as Flagyl, but it may not be; in that case it wouldn't be helpful and could even maket the UTI worse. Definitely ask a doctor.
