Hi everybody, Since you are my cyber family, I wanted to tell you why I'm facing a flare. We are moving to a new house, which of course is great, it's two times bigger than the current one, and all of us are very excited. So one week ago I started packing, which is a very tiring procedure, I found out things I didn't even know I had. So the packing goes on and on, and then two days ago my oldest daughter who is 12 comes down with a high fever and tonsillitis (sp?) so she starts a course of antibiotics and then same afternoon her throat closes completely, she lost her voice. Back to the doctor, he tells us she has to have a round of steroids too, because he was afraid her throat would swell. She also got her period, so she is feeling awful.
So I am trying to pack and also work 8 hours a day, and then sleepless nights because I have to take care of her. Now, my husband is helping but you know how children are, when they are sick, they want their mom (which is only natural).
So guess what? My guts started making all these strange noises, and then the big D. I mean it's just like water. Thank God I'm not nauseous. But how can I do all these things? I mean not even the healthiest person in the world would make it easily.
We hired somebody to move all the big stuff (couches, beds etc) on Saturday with a big truck, but we will do all the rest ourselves, because it's too expensive (they charge approx. USD 5 for every box).
Any advices on how to cope these days? The weather has changed also, which always affects me. It's warm today, a real spring day.
Christina
P.S. My daughter is feeling a lot better, so that's the most important thing for now!
