Contrast Medium/Sorbitol

Does anyone else get so much increased diarrhea ---as if some of us don't have enough--from the contrast medium. I always read the bottles and most of them have sorbitol, which I know I can't tolerate. Am I the only one who gets this??? Most of the time it is that vanilla volumen drink. They should invent a drink for us crohnnies that doesn't have it in it.

LOL, yeah, I know. It's like the MRI stuff that they make Crohn's people drink and then retain - most of us aren't that good at retention anyway, and then to put a mild laxative in there.... what do they expect of us??

Thanks for the heads up. We will be sure to ask whether the barium has this stuff in it.
