What is the best enema med for permeability of the sigmoid?

Colocort reaches the colon, you may want to ask your doc about it.

I guess because the possible side-effects (not everyone suffers from side-effects from rectal meds) out weighs the fact that these meds can very well clear up the inflammation.

I think opnce the irritation is gone it will most definitely help with symptoms, but I cannot guarantee with C...my GI told me to take fibre supplements daily for the rest of my life to aid with my crohns and IBS as I complained of issues with both C and D...it has definitely helped in many ways, maybe give it a try...but you must take it daily, it takes time for your system to adjust, may cause some bloating and gas which is normal but will disappear once you've adjusted to it.

If you're not taking a good probiotic daily, I strongly suggest you do that as well.

I want to tell you guys the other day i did a mini-cold water rectal enema and my pubic irritation went away IMMEDIATLY.One problem tho,i had a terrible headache afterward and colon spasm.darn lol
