My nephew was diagnosed with CD about
6 yr ago, been managing with Remicaid but just had to have 5 ft removed. Now doctor suggests 6MP & Pantasa mix. He has no RX coverage. Anyone in MI know of any relief programs?
Thank you all!

Call the drug company that makes the drug they often have some sort of program to help people get meds they can't afford. If generics are available call the maker of the brand name-generic manufacturers are less likely to help althought they will be cheaper.

Someone just gave me this info, I am without insurance myself. Hope this works out. I would love to hear if he gets help through these.

Also from Michigan and can't say I know of any local programs. How did the Remicade get covered with no Rx?? I know Pentasa is very expensive since there is no generic form of it. My Daughter was on Pentasa for about
4 years.
I would check out the PPARX.org website. It is the med help organization that Montel Williams is a part of and sometimes the commercial for it pops up on TV from time to time.

Pentasa has a program to defray the cost if you have no RX insurance. I don't know about
Imaran. Contact the drug companies
