Since my surgeries I have nothing but diarrhea. I have had pain in the are of the anastamosis and if the pain continues into mid april when I see my Gi in 2 weeks i am going for some tests. Since increasing my humira back to 1 shot every week both my joint pain and abd pain have lessened a lot. Recently I have had either external hemmies or skin tags. When the area was painful I was using Rx ointment. I have noticed some of the swelling is gone from there. I had some d about
an hr ago andmy d floats and is so thick the tp sits on top and doesnt even get wet til i flush. I usually have some thick whiteish what i assume is just vaginal discharge. Around that was blood red in color mixed in with the feces. I am due for my period but it hasnt started yet. when wiping the blood on the tp was mixed with feces and when the feces was 100% cleaned off so was the blood. What does this sound like? I am waiting for my GI to call back with my lab results from 3-17 and i informed of the blood when i left the message.

Sounds like hemmoroids to me. I have the same thing happen quite frequently. The red blood is almost always from hemmorroids.

I have never had a hemmie bleed that much but I know that is normal to most that have them. The most 1 has ever bled on me was strictly on tp smaller than the size of a dime. I dont have the feeling of passing razor blades like I feel when I have internal hemmies. I am concerned as i stated before but the fact that me abd pain has lessened with the increase of the humira makes me a little less concerned. I have just had neg after neg thing happen CD wise since 8-06 that it makes me nervous with every little thing fearing the worst. I think with all the complications I have had that how I am nervous with everything is normal. If an external hemmie pops would that make the swelling instantly go away?

No not necessaily go away but shrink a little. My hemmies aren't really from my Crohns but from childbirth. But a bad tummy day with alot of D can cause them to act up. My daughter has Fibro & IBS and there are times when she will seem like to fill the toilet with blood. Generally its almost always from her hemmies and straining. You can strain sometimes with D too. I have had 2 resections and had a few bad years myself, but I have found most of problems are now from adhesions and eating the wrong thing. I live on a low residue diet now and that has helped alot. Your life is never going to be like it was before your surgeries and that is probably the hardest thing to live with. I think within a few weeks the Humira is going to help alot.
